Welcome to Space Blossom

Space Blossom illustrates the creativity and work of the Interior Design and Technology BA(Hons) students at the Cass Department of Art, Media and Design within London Metropolitan University.

We are situated on the fringe of the City and the East End of London. We have extensive wood, metals and plastic workshops so we are able to make as well as design. Our department also includes design disciplines such as furniture, textiles, graphics, illustration, fine art, film and broadcast, silversmithing and jewellery. We are innovative, challenging and connected to industry. We have a fantastic creative atmosphere and the staff are incredibly dedicated to their students and their work.

The Interiors tutors have worked professionally for a wide variety of Design and Architectural practices engaging in a broad range of Commercial projects.

We absolutely love our work and explore its many varied opportunities getting involved in community projects, exchanging ideas with others Universities, both here and abroad. Practicing architects and designers from some of the world’s biggest companies come in and mentor the students, their advice is both absolutely brilliant and really helps the students gain more confidence becoming closer and better accustomed to the practice of Interiors within the Industry.
